Disciplined. Boxing at the House of fighters
Today I had a really memorable and motivating experience. I went to the Pythian Club at 12, and while I was there, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to visit a boxing gym in St Ann’s, Nottingham called House of Fighters. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and inspired. I was greeted by the coach, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about boxing.
During the session, we got straight into some proper training. I was pushed to work hard, learn new techniques, and improve my discipline. It wasn’t easy, but that’s exactly what made it so valuable. The atmosphere in the gym was intense but positive, and being surrounded by people who are dedicated to the sport really motivated me to give it my all.
Overall, it was a great experience and one that I won’t forget. It made me even more certain that boxing is something I want to pursue seriously in the future. I’m determined to keep training, keep improving, and push myself as far as I can go. This felt like an important step toward my goal of going big in boxing and making something of myself in the sport.
