The new beginning

“Today, me and a few other young leaders at The Pythian Club underwent our first day of work experience. We are planning a huge event involving charities, businesses, local organisations, first aids, and many more. We all researched each other’s skills and Identified different roles of ours to see where we would work the best at. I have been assigned the role of as a community researcher, researching into different charities and businesses and looking at how they would be beneficial to the event. We also had a meeting with Nottingham City Council to discuss our community project, on how we can help and involve others and strengthen our community. Overall I had a fantastic time, I met new people and the future is looking bright for us!”
