What it means to volunteer.

Today, The Pythian Club had a productive and positive meeting with Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service where we discussed the future of volunteering and the important role it plays within our community. The conversation focused on how volunteering can provide individuals with valuable skills, experience, and confidence that can help prepare them for future paid employment.

At The Pythian Club, we are passionate about creating opportunities for people to get involved, develop their abilities, and build pathways into work. Volunteering not only supports the work we do within the community but also helps individuals gain practical experience, teamwork skills, and personal development that employers value.
We are looking forward to working closely with CVS to strengthen these opportunities and continue supporting volunteers on their journey towards employment, training, and long-term career development.
