Working Together for Safer Communities: The Pythian Club Welcomes Nottinghamshire Police

As part of The Pythian Club’s ongoing work with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire, and in support of initiatives led by Mayor of the East Midlands Claire Ward, we were pleased to welcome officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s Crime Prevention Hub, alongside members of the local Bulwell and Bestwood Neighbourhood Policing Team.

The visit provided an opportunity for a positive and constructive discussion about how we can continue working together to support local communities, strengthen crime prevention efforts and ensure that people affected by crime are aware of the support available to them.

At The Pythian Club, we believe that creating safer neighbourhoods requires strong relationships between community organisations, local authorities, policing teams and the people they serve. By sharing knowledge, experiences and resources, we can better understand the challenges facing our communities and work towards practical, positive solutions.

Our ongoing partnerships also help us connect young people and members of the wider community with trusted organisations, provide access to appropriate guidance and support, and encourage positive engagement within their neighbourhoods.
