Lytham and Hogan Gardens

Working with the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), The Pythian Club spent time supporting the community of Lytham and Hogan Gardens attending the ‘Fiveways Subways’ on providing multi-sports sessions including football, rounders, boxing and providing a safe space for young people to socialise with their friends.

What are The Pythian Club doing?

Wthe Lytham and Hogan Gardens Community Bonfire night 2021!

We had a great evening of food, water, music and great community spirit!

The team went to purchase additional food and the lovely Rachel Miller from Mesopotamia Charity funded the food for us as she had heard about the great work The Pythian Club have been doing. The residents had a great time and it was their first ever bonfire in the last 18 years where the police didn’t have to come and put an end to it.

It was a very successful evening!

We are constantly working with the community on brightening the space with art and happy people!

Working collaboratively with the police and local councillors to bring the community together.

Dodgeball is a enjoyed by all ages including the sports coaches.

Boxing is a natural favourite run by our very own professional boxer Jay Giles!

We have arts and crafts for the young people to let their creative side out.
