Connecting Sport, Leadership and Community at Chilwell School

On 26 September, The Pythian Club visited Chilwell School to explore how we could support students and work alongside the school’s existing curriculum and enrichment programme.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss how our experience in sport, mentoring, leadership and community engagement could complement the work already taking place at the school.

We explored potential opportunities to create meaningful activities and support for students, using sport and positive engagement as a way to develop confidence, leadership skills and stronger connections within the community.

Working alongside schools is an important part of The Pythian Club’s approach to supporting young people. By combining our experience with the existing work of schools, we aim to create opportunities that respond to the needs of young people and encourage positive development.

We look forward to continuing discussions with Chilwell School and exploring how we can work together to support its students.
