Inspiring Positive Role Models at Vision West Academy

On 26 September, The Pythian Club visited Vision West Academy to introduce young people to our work and discuss the importance of making positive choices and becoming positive role models within their communities.

The session covered a range of topics, including future opportunities, employment and training, leadership and the importance of building positive relationships with the police.

We also spoke about community responsibility and the risks and consequences associated with unlawful e-scooter use. These conversations provided an opportunity for young people to consider how their decisions can affect themselves, their peers and the wider community.

A key focus of the session was highlighting the opportunities available to young people through The Pythian Club and our wider partnership network. We were able to discuss routes into support, training and future opportunities, including connections with Futures.

By engaging directly with young people, we aim to encourage leadership, responsibility and positive relationships while helping them understand the opportunities available to them.

The visit provided another valuable opportunity to connect with young people and promote positive choices, community involvement and future development.
